J.W. Shaffer Electric's founder, John W. Shaffer III, came to Tucson in 1962 where his Father, John W. Shaffer II, eventually became a General Building inspector for the City of Tucson for 20 years. John Shaffer III then qualified for Commercial and Residential General Contracting Licenses in 1984, and in 1986 qualified for Commercial and Residential Electrical Licenses. JW Shaffer Electric is now in the 3rd generation of Construction and Contracting for Southern Arizona.
